I think this is why I love it so much. There are so many elements I love about No. 6, themes, character types, story, relationships, everything. And I consider both the anime and the novels, and the dramas, EVEN THE MANGA AND DOUJINS to take part in what inspires me most about it. I am referring to all of this from a writer’s POV most of the time when I am not being a crazy fangirl and sometimes there are just animes, or comics, or books or WHATEVER that make me want to be better at what I do. And it’s mostly something that’s very personal, which is why I connect with it in such a big way. (and why different people I know connect in that way to things they admire and fangirl over and hold dear to their hearts).
I dunno. No. 6 just makes me want to write tragically awesome characters and complicated relationships and make beautiful artwork and give substance to a three-dimensional world that is both beautiful and horrific. It’s just totally my cup of tea and all the elements that I like. I guess that’s why I got SO into it, which I hardly ever do with anything.
Anyway, sorry for that. I sometimes feel the need to spew out thoughts.
